NESSie provides easy access to affordable arts therapies, counselling, support and training so that children, young people and their families, can thrive. We provide face-to-face support in education and community settings, online or by phone. We offer access to experienced, qualified staff who can help you quickly.
Currently, in the UK, only 31.5% of chidlren and young people are accessing mental health support. We partner with local statutory and voluntary organisations to offer regular training, supervision and support for parents, carers and educational professionals to make sure that more children and young people thrive.

Julie works in Welwyn Hatfield schools with high-end need children and young people referred via the DSPL5 Triage system. The young people seen have mental health as their dominant issue and no other clear pathway for support. NESSie provides weekly therapy sessions in schools for between 6-12 weeks, depending on the level of need, and liaises with the families, schools and other professionals.
